Terms of service

Boody is operated by Boody, registered in the Netherlands with Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 69591520, based at Parkweg 57a, 9724 AD Groningen, the Netherlands. You can contact us any time.

You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. One account per person. We may refuse or end an account that cannot be verified.

Boody introduces people who want company for dinner, events, travel, drinks or conversation. Boody is not a party to what you agree with each other, does not employ hosts, and does not allow sexual services in exchange for payment. See the platform rules.

A request sets out the date, time, duration, occasion, place and price. Nothing is charged until the host accepts. Either side can decline a request without giving a reason.

Payment is made through Boody after a host accepts, using Stripe. The host's hourly rate and the agreed duration determine the total. Boody keeps a service fee of 15% of the meeting price; the rest is paid out to the host. Hosts are responsible for their own taxes.

Once a host has accepted and payment is made, these windows apply:

• More than 48 hours before the meeting: full refund.
• Between 24 and 48 hours before: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before, or a no-show: no refund.
• If the host cancels, at any moment: full refund, including the service fee.

If you felt unsafe or the other person broke the platform rules, report it — those cases are reviewed by a person and refunded outside these windows.

You agree to keep your profile accurate, respect the boundaries agreed with the other person, keep payments on the platform, and follow the platform rules. Breaches can end your account without refund of any service fee.

Boody provides the platform and verification checks, but cannot guarantee anyone's behaviour. You meet other adults at your own responsibility. The precise limitation of liability still needs legal review and will be stated here.

You can delete your account at any time from your account. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law.

Dutch law applies, and the competent Dutch court decides any dispute.
